LuCinda Hohmann leads the firm’s marketing and business development efforts. She is responsible for developing and maintaining a firm-wide strategic marketing plan that identifies, reaches and engages new markets while uncovering business opportunities.
LuCinda has devoted her career to the social impact sector. With 11 years of experience working for not-for-profit organizations, she has helped tackle some of the most pressing social issues of our time through community organizing, fundraising, and advocacy. Most recently, she was the Midwest Campaign Manager for the Union of Concerned Scientists where she helped found and launch the organization’s Midwest office. She helped craft the vision for the office and went on to lead the strategic planning and campaign operations for the region.
Prior to the Union of Concerned Scientists, LuCinda led advocacy and communication efforts with Environment America. There she organized thousands of volunteers, raised close to $1 million in grassroots donations, and met with hundreds of legislators and the White House on the issues of clean water, clean air, and climate change.
In 2008, LuCinda worked to increase voter turnout in that year’s election cycle. She worked as the Midwest Regional Director for the Community Voters Project. There she oversaw nine grassroots voter registration offices across the region that collectively registered 97,000 minority citizens to vote in the election.
Outside of the office, LuCinda enjoys serving her community in a volunteer capacity. She sits on the board of Wisconsin Environment Research & Policy Center and is an active member of the Volunteer Council for Digital Megaphone. In 2012, she ran the Chicago Marathon to raise money for the nonprofit Back on My Feet.
When she is not working or volunteering, you can find LuCinda running on The 606, writing travel articles, and spending time with family and friends.
