Jamie Phillippe, CFREVice President
Having worked as a vice president for The Alford Group from 1992 to 1995, Jamie Phillippe recently returned to the firm to provide strategic counsel to select clients. Prior to her return, Jamie spent the last eight years serving as vice president of development and donor services for The Chicago Community Trust.
In her role with The Chicago Community Trust, Jamie oversaw the campaign that grew the Trust’s donor base and increased endowment resources to support the needs of metropolitan Chicago’s not-for-profit organizations. The campaign reached its $1 billion dollar goal two years ahead of schedule. The campaign ended with a total of more than $1.6 billion – the largest campaign in history by a community foundation.
Prior to her work with The Chicago Community Trust, Jamie served as vice president of external affairs for the Museum of Science and Industry for thirteen years. In addition to The Alford Group, she also consulted for Sumner Rahr & Company. Prior to consulting, she headed development for Bellarmine University and for the Louisville Ballet.
Jamie has held leadership positions with a number of nonprofit organizations, including the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Chicago Foundation for Women, Butler University Board of Trustees, and Women in the Development Professions. She also served on the National Governing Board of Common Cause and the Advisory Board for the Axelson Center for Nonprofit Management at North Park University. She currently sits on the Development and Stewardship Committee of the Coastal Community Foundation
Jamie served as a faculty member for Forefront (formerly Donors Forum). Jamie has taught nonprofit management courses at the University of Chicago, DePaul University, North Park University and the University of Notre Dame.
