SEATTLE, September 19, 2017 – The Alford Group is pleased to welcome Mary Kaufman-Cranney, CFRE, as a vice president of the firm effective October 3, 2017.

“We are very excited to welcome Mary to The Alford Group,” said Karen Rotko-Wynn, CFRE, executive vice president and west division manager of The Alford Group. “She brings 30 years of experience in developing and implementing highly successful fundraising campaigns. Her knowledge in this field is tremendous and will significantly benefit our clients.”

Throughout her career, Kaufman-Cranney has directed a dozen campaigns, securing more than $250 million for efforts in Washington State and around the world. “Mary’s expertise in engaging volunteer leaders and staff in developing strong donor relations, securing principal gifts, and building overall organizational capacity will add value for our clients across the country,” said Brenda B. Asare, president and CEO of The Alford Group.

In addition to The Nature Conservancy, Kaufman-Cranney has held leadership positions for both the Seattle Opera and the YMCA of Greater Seattle. Serving as the director of development for the Seattle Opera, Kaufman-Cranney reinvigorated a $10 million annual campaign and led a $75 million comprehensive campaign. As head of development with the YMCA, she directed three major capital campaigns securing $60 million for the construction of new facilities.
