Lieve (LEE-va) Buzard serves as a client service associate in the East division with The Alford Group. Lieve joined The Alford Group in early 2018, having previously worked in nonprofit administration and in strategy consulting. She has worked with a number of not-for-profit organizations, including The American Medical Association, The Rockefeller Foundation and Teach for America.
When working with clients, Lieve implements skills developed through bespoke projects in public-private partnerships, reputation planning and thought-leadership positioning. Most recently, she worked in physician engagement at the American Medical Association.
Lieve’s passion lies in engaging diverse stakeholders in strategic dialogue. Her research approach draws on experience from market segmentation and policy analysis projects. Lieve also makes use of skills developed through administration and event-planning to address client needs.
Lieve has served at a variety of not-for-profits as a staff person, intern, volunteer and donor. Her passion lies in ensuring access to quality educational opportunities and artistic experiences. Lieve leads a weekly after-school program and sings with the Chicago Symphony Chorus. She also is active at her church and volunteers with the Royal School of Church Music. In her leisure time, Lieve enjoys board games and meandering through the Lincoln Park Zoo.
